Everybody from representatives from the Kansas legislature to the Mayor of New York City to university researchers certainly want to make it more difficult and expensive for you and I to enjoy such pleasures in life like pizza and soda.

I admire one more quality in a candidate that Gery Chico alone seems to possess. I found it quite by accident when my favorite candidate for vote in bryan nelson suddenly dropped out.

Ultimately Blagojevich, 54, appointed former Illinois Attorney General Roland Burris to the seat after U.S. Rep. Danny K. Davis, D-IL, turned down the appointment. There had been wide speculation that aides to U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., D-IL, had offered the disgraced governor up to $6 million in campaign cash if he would appoint Jackson, who has denied the allegation and has never been charged with any wrongdoing.

Instead of taxing more, have any of the above governmental entities think about eliminating wasteful positions, programs and positions. Its the government, I’m sure there is a plethora of things that fit the category of “wasteful”.

On November 4th from 7:30-10PM, the Libertarian Party of Palm Beach County will celebrate the life of Milton Friedman at the patio of Rotelli’s (701 Lake Ave, Lake Worth) and then outreach to the community during Lake Worth’s Evenings on the Avenue.

Justin Wedes: This petition is an open letter to State Commissioner of Education David M. Steiner that I wrote the night of the mayor’s first press conference last week. I thought it would be a good idea to post it to the web and see how many people would sign it with me, since I knew a lot of parents and teachers were caught off guard by the quick resignation of Klein and the immediate appointment of this relative unknown in the Education world. I didn’t think that, just one week later, I’d be looking at the words I wrote with nearly 10,000 signatures (plus comments) underneath them.

It is time for the voters of Massachusetts to put an end to this nonsense. They need to vote these people out of office in 2012. Until then they have to continue to let Beacon hill know this is not the answer to the state’s fiscal problems. And perhaps if the Governor ever stays around long enough between his book tour, trade missions and non-campaigning we might be able to get the message to him as well.
